These programs are designed to help learners gain the confidence and skills needed to look for a job or go on
to further study. SLAC will offer the following Learn Local pre-accredited programs for Semester 1 of 2023:
- Digital Literacy
- Beginning in the English Language
- Pre-beginner Literacy and Writing
- English for Work
- Everyday English conversational classes
- English for Citizenship
- Bridging course to community work
SLAC is registered with the Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board. The quality and structure of all pre-accredited programs is regularly reviewed by the ACFE Board.

Outreach
SLAC runs Everyday English Conversational Classes and Cultural Learning Clubs in outreach.
